I’ve been catching up on the prolific writings of my favorite undergrad professor – Richard Beck. Somehow I missed this great post from February 2010.

How Facebook Killed the Church

From the comments its apparent that many people missed the irony and tongue-in-cheek nature of this post – even while it pointed out some very legitimate trends and results of social networking (which are positive despite the supposed negative connotation of the post’s argument). I don’t want to give too many spoilers because I hope you’ll read it yourself…but suffice it to say, Reader beware, take yourself too seriously and you’ll miss the point.
